Hello everyone.

Poorwa here.

I usually say this line in my posts which are related to festivals that ‘India is a country of festivals.’ In short we celebrate our full year beautifully. Krishna Janmashtami is one of my most favorite festivals in a year. This year we celebrated this festival yesterday (11 August) and also celebrating this today (12 August), yes there are two dates.

In my area, we mainly celebrated this yesterday. I and my elder sister took fast for the whole day, we made sweets and half of the day we were busy cleaning our house. I didn’t ate anything for the whole day yesterday but if I tell you the truth I didn’t realize that I haven’t eaten anything because of my online classes, I passed my whole day studying and I’m really thankful for that.

After 6 PM, we worshiped and prayed to Lord Krishna and then broke our fast. All the things went good but I have regret for one thing that we didn’t went to Krishna temple and there was no matki fod (also known as dahi handi) contest in our town because of this Covid-19. But after all we celebrated Janmashtami happily.

Wish you guys a happy Krishna Janmashtami.

Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta

Jai shri Krishna!

Welcome to my comfort zone. A safe place to talk about life and all our little joys that don’t seem much significant to the world outside. Here we won’t be judged!
