Being tortured by her step mother and sisters since childhood….

It took me a while to answer this one because this time I didn’t want a fictional character but it’s the reality that everyone has to struggle to achieve something, so I couldn’t name only one female.

Name a female who you want to be friends/roommates with

Selena Gomez to be friends with and Jade Thirlwall to be roommates with!

I would love to be friends with Selena… (well, who wouldn’t!?) She’s just so lovely! And roommates with Jade because I’m a huge fan of her vocals, so I could sing with her all the night.

Name a female who you think is a good role model

Jennifer Winget!

Well I don’t have a role model but I still like Jennifer a lot! I think she’s the one for this!

These 4 (unfortunately, they are 3 now as Jessy has left the band but the trio hasn’t debuted yet, so I want to mention Jessy too) girls are so talented and deserve much more. I can’t express how good their songs are!

Ellie’s questions and my answers…

·  What’s the story behind your blog’s name?

Well, I don’t think there is a story behind the name ‘Poorwa’s blog’. Actually, I didn’t know a single thing about blogging when I created my account on WP and when it asked me to give my blog a name, there was this example: ‘Liam’s blog’, I had nothing in mind of what my blog will be about at that time, so I stepped forward with my name and I have no plan of changing it because I really like it now haha.

·  What is your favorite social media platform and why?

(If WordPress is a social media platform, then it’s WP for sure. And if not then…) Twitter! I like Instagram too but I think Twitter is more useful and easy to use for me. Just tweet whatever you feel and you can even see what’s trending so..

·  If you could meet yourself at 13, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

Okay, so I was in 10^th grade back then… I would say that because of board exams you and your classmates are way too focused on studies and you guys don’t even step out of your classroom. So I want to advise you that you must take a small break and enjoy the games period at school. Or else you’re gonna miss volleyball and your friends like hell next year because you can’t even imagine what’s gonna happen. So take my advice and have some fun.

·  What’s something that you love that you wish you could do more often?

Cycling! It’s been almost 3 years, I never find enough time to ride my bicycle. And yes, I love video-games too! I wish I could do these two things more often.

·  What movie/TV show adaptation of a book do you wish had never been made?

I don’t know, as you know I’m not a book-reader yet. But maybe I will answer this question after a year, when I’m looking forward to read many-many books after completing school.

·  Are there any popular books or TV shows you have no interest in?

I don’t know for this one too because I don’t have much knowledge about popular books and I only watch a few Hindi TV shows but I don’t know they are popular or not… let me ask- “Do any of you guys know ‘Best of Luck Nikki’ or ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain’?” Wait.. wait.. there is a popular news show in India called “Puchhta Hai Bharat”, I have watched it a few times because my parents really like the show but that wasn’t interesting to me.

·  If you could travel anywhere in the world (assuming a COVID-19 free world), where would you go?

I would love to go to South Korea. Not just because I love k-pop, since I’m learning Korean I’m quite attracted to their culture, and watching k-dramas also help me to know about the country, so I really want to travel to South Korea. And don’t forget that I want to be a traveler.

·  What hobbies do you have (aside from blogging)?

Singing, Dancing, Painting/Drawing, Cycling (which I haven’t done for years), playing video games, watching k-dramas (it’s a very new one), studying, playing online quizzes, surfing the internet, etc. I have lots of hobbies!

·  Tell us about one way you practice self-care!

I think listening to music is the best self-care for me! I can’t live without music and whenever I sing, I feel like I’m loving and taking care of myself. Song I’m listening to and singing to now is- History (by One Direction)

·  What is your favorite indie bookstore?

Sorry, I don’t have proper answers for bookish questions, so I don’t know.

·  If you could do a degree in anything (money and your own current understanding being no object), what would you choose to study?

In Law! Lawyers seem very smart and strong to me. I think it could give me much more strength to handle a tough situation and something like that you know, I would feel more confident if I had the mind of a good lawyer… haha it’s just a small wish.
