Hey there! First of all, I’m very sorry for not posting last week and also for not catching up with your posts and all the updates. My exams just ended a day ago and to be honest, I completely forgot that I even had to schedule a post on my blog because all I could think of was giving offline exams after such a long time. I guess I can write a long post on this topic so let’s leave that story for another day.
Coming back to this post… yes, I’m here with my first K-pop album review!!! I’m just so much excited about this really because first of all, you know how much I love K-pop, and then it’s NCT, of course!
I recently became a huge fan of the group and they are just too good and talented I must say. I was eagerly waiting for this comeback and I’m very happy to share this post with you. So here I am reviewing NCT 127’s brand new album ‘Sticker – The 3rd Album’ released on September 17, 2021. Let’s get started…
Sticker
Honestly, I really hated this song when I first listened to it. But now that I’ve listened to it many times watching the performances and all, I’m liking it. The sound of pipe that was distracting for me at first is now addictive. It’s quite a unique song and highlights all the members very well, still, the music video doesn’t stand out for me. I love this dance performance below though.
Lemonade
Lemonade is my recent favorite song and I must say that it’s totally awesome. The first thing I like is that it has complete NCT vibes and… I just love it. I also like the way their previous hits like Cherry Bomb, Regular, and Fire Truck are mentioned in Mark’s verse. Then how can I forget about Johnny’s howl, it was so cool. The chorus is also very catchy and so the choreography is superb. I loved everything about it! Here are my favorite lyrics…

Breakfast
It sounds like a remix to me, a song you may like to play at a party with your friends. It’s a nice B-side track but doesn’t stand out for me in front of the other songs of the album. Though I loved Yuta’s and Haechan’s part a lot in the chorus.
Focus (같은 시선)
I didn’t like it at first but listening to it again, it’s very very nice. It’s like a song about how you feel when you look into someone’s eyes you like. Mark’s rap part is my favorite and I feel like I’m floating in an ocean while listening to this song, I love the beats a lot. So it’s recommended.
The Rainy Night (내일의 나에게)
The Rainy Night (To Tomorrow’s Me) is a masterpiece I must say. I wish the rappers also had some lines but I can’t really complain because this song is just too good. Everything about it is beautiful, from lyrics to vocals, just everything. It’s pleasant to ears and I lack words to praise their talent. I especially love Haechan’s and Taeil’s lines a lot. I would love to share my favorite part too but I can’t decide really, each second is perfect for me. A must-listen!
Far
It’s a cool song but not my type really. I like Lemonade much better than this one but I’m sure it’s a song I’d love to listen to when I’m vibing alone in my room with headphones on and no one can watch me getting lost in the music and going crazy. It’s pretty nice.
Bring the Noize
Before talking about the song, I want to clap for Taeyong for choreographing it so well. I didn’t like it when I first listened to the audio but after watching the performance, it totally changed my mind. I really loved the choreography a lot and when I got to know who’s behind it, I was like “That’s the leader”. I don’t like the whole song equally but after the bridge, it was so awesome. Jaehyun did so great. I can say I became a rap fan after getting into NCT and they killed it.
Magic Carpet Ride
Since they released the track video, I already knew that it’s going to be my favorite track. Magic Carpet Ride is beautiful, calm, happy, hopeful, and just perfect. It’s a big thing to say but this song has the best ad-libs I’ve found in a while. It’s not an easy song to sing but the way they did it all so simply… Respect! Especially Haechan and Doyoung’s high notes were so beautiful and unique. Then how can I forget about Taeil- NCT’s treasure! If you haven’t listened to this song yet, you’re really missing out trust me.
Road Trip
A perfect song for a road trip. I love the flow of this song, it’s calm and joyful. Full of positive vibes that I like a lot. I loved how Mark and Taeyong too became vocalists and their rap part is my favorite as always. Jungwoo really did his parts beautifully and you can notice it in the song. Ad-libs are lovely and I like the way they kept it simple and sweet.

Dreamer
It’s a nice uplifting song and… I should say energetic. I liked how it starts and Mark’s outro was also great. It has nice lyrics but still, I neither loved it nor disliked it. It’s pretty good as a B-side track but I like the other songs much better. And I recommend you trying listening to it once, maybe you’ll like to add it to your playlist.
Promise You (다시 만나는 날)
Promise you (The Day We Meet Again)… for me, it’s the best track of Sticker. I just love everything about it. It shows their feelings to their fans, hoping for the day they meet again. Again Mark’

Favorite Lyrics: Promise You (The Day We Meet Again)
It’s the first time I have four favorite tracks in an album. Though there are some songs I don’t like that much but the ones I like are just too good that I’ll keep them forever in my playlist. Even right now I’m listening to the four tracks I mentioned as my favorites on repeat. Sticker is an amazing album and I totally recommend you to check it out.
