The time is here when I fully make my comeback as a blogger. Now you might ask – “but you never left”. Oh yes, I didn’t. But there’s a difference between just posting and blogging, you know?
After the end of pandemic, I considered many times to put this blog on private, I honestly felt bad for not being consistent here and it became too hard to manage blog and studies both at the same time. I wrote a post last year – Why I Don’t Quit Blogging, it consisted of all the reasons why I couldn’t let go of this blog. I tried many times to get back on track, but it never worked, and it’s not even that I don’t know why it didn’t go the way I wanted it to, maybe I just didn’t want to acknowledge it. I didn’t care anymore about the purpose of this blog, this was just me posting for the sake of it, because I’m afraid of the thought of disappearing.
But now I know what I have to do. It’s time for a change. There’s no point in doing something halfheartedly, especially when it’s something you actually like doing. The problem lies in the things that are trying to hold you back, not where you want to go.
So here’s my masterplan… *excitement overloaded* (this is already getting fun lol)
Blog redesign
I’m loving the new look of my blog (if you’re reading this on WP reader, then click here to visit my site). I’d really appreciate your feedback on the new design and if you have any suggestions, feel free to contact me. I love how my new theme gives the blog an elegant look and the fonts are styled in such a pretty way, I’m obsessed. I’m not done editing the About and Disclaimer pages yet but I think it’ll be perfect by tonight. Anyway, I was wondering if you guys would like a series on how to make the most of WordPress free plan, something like a blog designing guide. Let me know you thoughts on it!
Write more
This is what I’m going to focus on the most. I’m gonna give at least two hours everyday for writing. But keeping the fact in mind that my exams are just around the corner, from the day I get the timetable I’ll keep it only one hour for writing each day until my exams are over. And then I’ll add on a couple more hours when I don’t have to worry about studies much.
You can expect more posts related to my daily lifestyle, advice for students, teenage struggles, blog related posts for beginners, and of course there will be more album and book reviews.
Read more + Discover new blogs
Community matters. That’s one of the biggest blogging lessons I’ve learned in the past 4 years. Interaction among bloggers is something I’ve missed a lot since I stopped being consistent with blogging. So I’m really looking forward to reconnecting with the amazing blogs I follow and I’m going to do my best to be an active reader. On the other hand, I’m excited to discover more blogs and meet new writers.

Promote on social media
I already have an Instagram stories highlight for my latest blog posts but truth be told, more than half of my IG followers have zero interest in reading blogs (a part of me still regrets opening that profile to my relatives and school people). So I’m thinking of promoting my new posts on other platforms like X and Facebook. Can you believe I deleted my old Facebook page last year thinking it was the end of my blogging journey? Nevermind, I’ve created a new page you can find here. I’ll take this social media promotion thing slowly because stats are not something I really want to worry about right now. First I’ll mainly focus on how I’m doing at wordpress, the rest we’ll figure out with time.
(If you’re on FB, please reach out to my profile here because I’m really wandering there alone with 0 friends lol.)
Create a schedule
I’ve installed Notion on both my computer and phone, so far I’m liking its interface and everything. I haven’t used the Calendar feature yet but that’s where I’ll be making my whole blog schedule for which post will go live when. This app also seems useful for my monthly wrap-up posts because I can keep track of everything there. I’ll update you on how it’s working in some other post.
Trust the process and just give your best
Okay, this one is important. I’m well aware of the fact that exams are powerful enough to mess up my whole plan, but who really cares? I’ll just try again and again. I’m so grateful to all of you, I hope you enjoy reading my upcoming posts.
See you soon!!!
