If you’re like me, you can’t directly fell asleep when you close your eyes to sleep too. I count ‘going to sleep’ as one of the best moments of my day. It feels like a pleasure when I close my eyes and finally take some rest leaving behind the stressful day.
But still, it takes me about an hour to fell asleep. While trying to sleep is the time when I think the most in a day. And a million things wander around my mind. I think many of you can relate with me, so this is the post dedicated to my eyes closed world.
Things come to my mind when I close my eyes to sleep
All good or bad things that happened today
The whole day starts to replay in front of me after a second I fell on the bed. Sometimes smile-sometimes I cry, it actually depends on the incidents that happened that day. If it wasn’t a good day- filled with negativity, my pillow gets wet because of my tears; I hide them in front of my family because it would make them sad but sometimes I just want to cry and I find nighttime the best for it. Okay.. okay.. no negativity, let’s come to the nice point- sometimes it’s opposite when my day goes very well, you would laugh watching me sleeping; one-night mom came to my room just to check I was asleep or not and she started to laugh. She woke me up and said, “Why are you laughing like an idiot?” That moment was just hilarious.
Whatever I did better today
“Make you today better than yesterday”, I try every day to walk on this path- “I need to be a better person.” Even the smallest good thing matters. It’s important to feel proud of yourself. It makes me happy that I woke up early than yesterday, it makes me happy that I solved more math problems, it makes me happy that I behaved nicely with my friends, etc. etc. Thinking about my good acts of the day gives me better sleep.
Thinking about my dreams
We all have dreams and it’s important to keep your mind reminding about what you want. I’m not saying you to pressure your mind or make strategies to accomplish them when you’re going to sleep; I think you shouldn’t tense yourself especially when you’re in bed trying to sleep. Think about positive things like how good your life will be when you would’ve accomplished your goals… something like that- positive thoughts. Thinking about my dreams coming true keeps me motivated to work hard to accomplish them.
New blog post ideas
Finding ideas for new blog posts is one of the most annoying things for me when it comes to blogging. It’s so hard to get them when you actually need them. I think we all are familiar with this phrase, “What should I write now?” New post ideas come to mind from nowhere, just like you don’t know when you’ll have to sneeze? Ideas for new posts pop up in my mind when I’m… (actually I don’t know) brushing my teeth, wearing socks in a hurry of school, sneezing, solving a math problem, chatting with friends… (This post is based on the experiences I’ve had). But I get most of my posts’ ideas when I take a nap, suddenly a post title pops in my mind and I like it a lot then realize that I have nothing to write this title right now and it’s impossible that I would get off from the bed and write this idea somewhere. Then a common mind tries to memorize the title and thinks that this idea will be in my mind until I wake up, then I’ll save a draft quickly. The next morning it comes out that the folder you made in your mind is empty and the awesome idea you had last night is missing! So how was the very true story? To overcome those nightmares now I keep a paper and pen below my pillow and every-night I note down a new post’s title.
Making stories
I got this hobby when I was frustrated because I couldn’t remember my dreams. I create short stories in my mind, not so realistic because they are dreams at least for me. I recommend you to try doing this thing, it’s so much fun and if you don’t get sleepy even after laying in bed for an hour, it’s highly recommended because it’s helpful to make you asleep fast. I have completed so many stories and I repeat them in my mind every day when I get on the bed. It just feels so good and gives me positivity and happiness. I know this all sounds non-sense but everything that makes you happy and gives you positivity without any loss to anyone… it’s always worth doing. Okay, I’m the creator of this quote… thank you… thank you! I was just joking around (My mind is in right place, I know it wasn’t funny at all), do let me know if you also do this ‘making stories’ thing (don’t tell me that my whole life was a lie) and if you don’t, please try my idea. And the hero of that story must be you so don’t forget.

What do you think when you go to bed? What are some-things come to your mind when you go to sleep? Let me know your views on this post in the comment section.
Thanks for reading!

(There might be some grammar problems in this post and if it’s true, I’m sorry for that. Actually if I start to re-check this post now I will be late for my practical exam of Physics for sure. So I will correct them if there’s any after I’ll be back from school) Wish me luck!
