Review: Butter – BTS

It’s finally here now! I know I couldn’t come fast for it but you know I had to announce the results yesterday. Before starting this post, again I want to congratulate the winners of the Photography Contest. And for the celebration, here is Butter for you.

I do album reviews, EP reviews on my blog, and today I’ll do the first song review on my blog. And what could be better than BTS latest released single ‘Butter’ for starting something new (they are always so lucky for me).

Butter their second English song following Dynamite. It has already broke two world records and the fun thing is that they broke their own records of Dynamite. Butter Official MV has set a new all-time record for the biggest YouTube music video premiere with over 3.9 million concurrents. And also, it reached 113 million views in just 24 hours! Worldwide trends right now are filled with hashtags like #ButterMV, #GROUP HUG, #TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK, #Butter by BTS….. so you can see it’s impact! Now let’s see my views on Butter…

My opinion…

⭐ 4.9 out of 5

This song is just…. fantastic!!! The whole world gave and still giving Dynamite so much love, so I’m sure Butter is gonna smash the charts. It’s a perfect Summer song, reflected on being together for the last eight years as a group.

Lyrics mean a lot to me when it comes to a song. I can’t say Butter has very deep lyrics but you know, who cares about lyrics when the whole song is so addictive. And it absolutely has better lyrics than other summer songs, so I’m loving it a lot. I love the lyrics of Verse 3 and they again won ARMYs heart by mentioning them in it…

Then I really like the music video! It’s 11:07 AM right now I’m writing this post, Butter Official MV has reached 120+ million views on YouTube, and I’ve watched it at least 10 times on TV just today. It’s everywhere! Choreography is fun and not so hard, and that’s what I like about a summer anthem.

The whole world is going through a hard time, especially in India, the situation is going out of control. And I think Butter is what I needed to light up my mood. It’s a must-listen! I’m dancing while typing! I can’t wait for tomorrow, as they will be performing it on BBMAs, I’m sure it’s gonna be awesome!
