*splashing virtual colors over you all and… * Happy Holi everyone!!!
This week has been, well, colorful. It’s 24th March today as I’m writing this and Holi comes tomorrow but I’ve been colored two times already. I’m not complaining though, am I? I love Holi. But the headache that comes at the end of the day is something I wish I could avoid lol.
Our classes for the new semester started this week so I attended my first lectures of the new term yesterday. I would have started going next week after Holi was over but I was just feeling bored at home so I couldn’t wait. It was also likely that everyone would be playing Holi after their classes so I was excited about that too.
You might not know this but it was actually my first time playing Holi with friends. I never really got to celebrate this festival in school, and none of my friends lived nearby so I couldn’t even invite them at home to play. Well, better late than never, isn’t it? I had so much fun yesterday. However, it would have been even much better if more of our classmates were present.
Anyway, here are some pictures…
Today was really quiet compared to yesterday. But I did lots of cleaning and house chores and also went shopping with mom. I’m really looking forward to tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. We celebrate it really peacefully on the first day, just playing a bit with colors and eating sweets but on the second day, it gets so chaotic because my cousins are too serious and wild about Holi. Again, I’m not complaining. That’s the whole joy of the festival.
