I woke up at 6:30 am and left for college an hour later thinking this would be just another ordinary and boring day. But the events took a different turn from what I had in mind and it became a chaotic, fun and quite a remarkable day for me.
It’s 10:16 pm right now as I’m writing this post in my bed, totally exhausted but I don’t want to lose my streak of writing every day for the month of Blogtober. And I was going to do a ‘snapshots from my week’ post soon anyway, so why not today when I took so many pictures! So without any further ado, let’s take a look at them…

My whole family gathered in this beautiful temple today as it was my cousin’s daughter’s mundan ceremony. Mundan is a ritual that involves shaving a baby’s first hair when they are about 7-8 months old.

By the time, the ceremony was finished, I was already tired after running around behind my nephews and niece all afternoon. But I still managed to click some pictures of the temple…

This was all about daytime. At night, me and my sister went to a special bazaar with my cousins called a Meena Bazaar which is like a small amusement park where you can also enjoy shopping. On our way back home, we also visited a Navratri pandal. It was fascinating to see the decorations around the city for Navratri and Dussehra. I’ll share more about these festivals and lots of more pictures from my day in part 2 of this post.
Stay tuned!
