My Small Joys: Lockdown Edition

I’m really tired of staying at home. Even though I don’t usually go outside, I’m missing my school life like hell. On one hand, I don’t want this lockdown to end because people go out of control whenever it happens, and on the other hand, I want to meet my friends badly and attend school again. Yesterday, I went to school as we had to submit our summer project. I saw some of my friends, waved to them, but you know, we couldn’t talk since the Covid-19 situation is not so good here.

I really felt bad about it. So now I want to think about the things I’m enjoying in this lockdown and the things that are making me keep going. You know, I’m a positivity lover.

(Visit the website for a better reading experience!)

1. Learning Korean- I’m the kind of person who is always dying to learn something new. Conditions that it has to be something fun and not a waste of time.

2. Listening to Music- Do I even have to explain this one!?

3. Watching Run BTS- Even if you’re not a fan of BTS or K-pop, Run BTS would be one of the best and funniest shows ever to watch. Highly recommended!

4. Rain- I strongly dislike it whenever it rains heavily (I mean most of the time) but also love it a lot when I get to hear the “rim-jhim-rim-jhim” sound without any loud thunders.

5. Playing Chess and Cards- It’s raining almost every day here so we get the perfect mood to play these nice games, especially cards. I love it when the 5 of us play together.

6. Baking Videos- I’m not a big fan of eating but also a die-hard fan of desserts and cakes. So I’m trying to learn how to bake. It’s fun!

7. Watching K-pop videos- Especially NCT and SuperM! I love both of these bands and it’s super fun to watch their shows.

8. Online Classes- In this case, I’m boring I know. But I’m dying to study, alright? This is after all my final year of school. Though it’s online which is very annoying I want to enjoy it.

9. Typing- My current typing speed is 80 wpm with 100% accuracy and my next goal is 85 wpm speed. Typing Games are fun to take and they really do help to increase our speed.

10. Blogging- You thought I’d miss it, right? Of course, it’s Blogging. These days I’m working with a few collabs with my blogging friends so I’m really more excited and happy.

It’s great to focus on the positive side of things, Poorwa. It’s great that you’re learning Korean. I’ve never watched any K-pop or K-drama till date. I hope that covid dies off and that you’ll be able to meet up with your friends soon. The last year of school is special indeed. I love baking too. It’s a huge stress-buster for me.

haha, thanks! Typing is like my hobby, I enjoy doing it. When I was learning it I remember I used to type anything I say or listen with my fingertips even without a keyboard in front of me.

Haha that’s really cool. I also enjoy typing. It becomes an automatic process, you don’t have to search for letters on the keyboard, your fingers do the working!

Loved reading this post. I like your thought of always looking at the bright side. Your typing skills really impress me. I didn’t know you were into gaming. I just used to play mobile games from play store. Sadly I’ve never tried using Playstations.
Blogging is one of the greatest thing that I’ve found in this lockdown. ❤️
