Hey everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve done any fun tags or award posts on my blog, I have quite a long post waiting to get published in my drafts but we have to wait a little more for that until I properly get back into blogging like before which will happen soon I promise. Recently, I got tagged for the Know Your Buddy tag by Evin @ A Curly Sue’s Ramblings (Thanks Evin and also congrats on 1000 followers!!!). I really enjoyed reading her post and this tag just seemed so much fun, Pavithra @ Small Talks and I decided to do it together.

Pavithra and I got to know each other when we both were newbies in the blogosphere and it didn’t take us long to become good friends because of our love for music. We even did our first-ever collab which was as expected a music-related post where we answered some really fun questions and got to know each other better. Today again I’m very happy and excited to do this tag as a collab post with her so yeah, hope you enjoy it…

1. What is your favorite blog post of mine and why?

I’ve been reading your posts since when I started blogging back in 2020. I love all your thoughts and writings. To pick one, I’ll select one of your recent posts “How my views on rap have changed after getting into kpop” as my favorite. It is because I could relate to it so much that I felt like it was a part of my life story too. I love it when you write your thoughts on a particular topic like this.

2. What would you like to be known for – your name or your Blog name?

I’ll go with my blog name. I started this blog mainly to publish my articles, assignments, poems or even my random drawings but as the time eventually passed, I realized that all I ever wanted was a comfortable place, where I can voice out my thoughts, validate my feelings and be a true version of myself. There is no meaning in knowing my name if you don’t know about my story, so yes, I’ll better be famous for my blog name “Small Talks” than my real name.

3. If you had to swap niches, which niche would you change to?

I’m actually happy with having ‘no niche’ in my blog. I don’t want to restrict my mind and stick to any one particular topic.

4. What is the weirdest comment you have ever gotten about your blog?

I don’t remember anything weird because all the inappropriate comment goes to spam automatically and I don’t even look at them. There was this one time when I got an annoying comment from a girl saying I was not patriotic to my country just because I wrote “I’m an Indian by blood and Omani by heart” in my introduction post. It was because I had spent most of my school life in Oman and other half in India so when I think of home, both the countries come into my mind. I think she didn’t read the rest of my post and straight away went on preaching me to love my country and left a lengthy paragraph describing the beauty of India. I was like “girl, do you think you know me, like…?”

5. Do you think cereal is soup? why or why not?

What? Nooo!! Why would you call cereal a soup? Cereal is made up of milk and that is completely different from soup which is made up of vegetables and stuffs. I don’t see the logic to even debate about it.

6. If you had a controller that has the power to rewind or fast forward, which one would you press on WordPress?

Absolutely rewind. I don’t want to rush and see how my blogging is in future. I would probably press rewind button and reminisce all the good days I had while working and writing for my blog.

7. Your blog is chosen to sponsor a charity. If funds were not an issue, which charity or issue would your blog choose to support?

That would be so awesome and I wish it happens in real. As an army, fan of BTS, I would blindly support- ‘Love Myself’ campaign. 💜💜

8. If you two were to be buddy characters in a movie, which characters would you be and why?

Cool!! We would be Marinette and Alya from Miraculous-Tales of ladybug and cat noir. The reason is obvious and I think even she’ll agree to it. Their friendship is always strong and supportive. Ayla encourages her friend in every possible way and Marinette in turn protects her at any cost. They also share almost every secret and little feelings with each other.

9. Which is the most boring part of posting blog posts for you, or what part of posting

Sharing and promoting my latest blog post, I guess!? I used to immediately share my latest post in all social medias like Whatsapp, Tumblr, Twitter and even in Weverse. I was so excited about it in the beginning but at one point, I even gave up doing it. I found it boring and also unnecessary to promote my blog.

10. What are the unwritten rules of your blog?

My unwritten rules are pretty simple:-

• Don’t make it too lengthy.
• Make sure you don’t offend or hurt anyone with your words.
• Post anything and everything that you feel worth sharing it with others. Don’t hesitate.
• No matter who listens, just review your favorite album and songs. Share your playlist anyway : )

11. If you could transform into any animal, what would it be and why?

A wolf!! 🐺They are legendary!! I never admired any wild animals more than wolves. They are known for their loyalty, freedom, courage. You can never see a wolf leaving behind its own pack and that’s the thing I love more about them – their teamwork, protection and devotion to family. Even their howling is so damn attractive.

12. If your blog had a superpower/magical element, what would it be?

A voice feature that writes my post while I dictate. Just imagining itself feels so dope. I know it’s not that magical but it would be so useful. I can do all the talking and my blog would magically write everything I say.

13. What reminds you of me?

We relate to many things and sometimes I even wonder whether you are my doppelganger but when I think about it, we mostly speak in music and K-pop language!! That’s the very first thing that reminds me of you. Whenever I see any NCT content, a new K-pop song or BTS videos, I sometimes think “Will Poorwa like this video too? I should immediately share it with her.” I only admired Mark from NCT but became a fan of them because of your constant excitement and little obsession so don’t you dare think that it will not remind me of you. Sometimes I even wonder what song you will be listening to. Remember when I asked you to share your spotify account in the middle of a night!? 😂

14. If you were given the power to exchange Blogs for a day, which thing will change or adapt first?

I would love to adapt your website look and design. Believe me, I’m seriously bad at it and I love your current theme.

15. What new username would you give to my Blog?

Your blog name is known and loved by everyone in our blogosphere so I don’t want to change it but it doesn’t mean I won’t come up with any ideas for my bestie. Haha, How about ‘My little universe’ or ‘under blue sky’? (because we both love science and universe stuffs and even dreamt of working in space 😄)

What reminds you of your blogging buddy?

P.S.- Yes, I’m changing my blogging schedule again but I think I should really do this. So from today until I find a better way to manage everything, I won’t be following any posting schedule on my blog. I’m sorry for it but this way I think I can write more and there won’t be too much stress too. I’ll try my best to at least publish one post a week on my blog like we decided some time ago and if it goes as planned, there can be more posts too and the time- 4 PM (IST) will stay the same.
