One of my favorite things to do on my blog is to write about this blog itself. I’ve talked about the things I love about blogging and I’ve added one more point to my list recently is that blogging makes me able to write about my interests. As bloggers, when we are thinking of new blog post ideas and choosing what to write next, we often get to face this “what I want to write VS what my readers would like to read” kinda situation. In my opinion, writing cannot be done forcefully, if you don’t feel like writing about a particular topic no matter how popular is it, you don’t have to do it. Write what you like and this will bring you genuine readers who will give you honest and good feedback.
So why I am writing this post is because I often feel caught between that VS situation I just talked about. Though for me, the “what I want to write” side has always been winning, still I wanted to write a post about my favorite things to write about on this blog because I think it will be helpful to me whenever I’m facing a writers’ block, plus it will also work as a ‘get to know me better’ post that I enjoy writing a lot.
Woah, that’s quite a big intro. Now without any further ado, let’s get into the post…

Music Related
People have this stereotypical assumption about me that I’m not that interested in music. Well, only you guys know my love for songs and artists all around the world. There’s no one really with whom I can talk about my music interests offline. But it’s crazy how I don’t have to hesitate even a bit to write about my favorite artists and review songs on my blog and share my views with so many people who have similar interests as mine and who actually listen to my thoughts and opinions. As for now, I have two musical series on my blog – Album Review and K-pop Unwind, and I hope to come up with more music-related content in the future as well.

Blogging Stuff
I’m not an expert at blogging but in my opinion, every blogger is eligible to give blogging advice and share the lessons they have learned so far in their blogging journey with their readers. These posts are fun to write and it feels so good when you get a comment saying “It was very helpful” or “So relatable”. Such posts are not only about sharing tips but also about talking about your mistakes without hesitation and taking a moment to realize how much you have learned. And the plus point is that blogging-related posts even bring good traffic to your blog.

Photography Posts
I never miss a single photography post on my Reader. They are like the most refreshing content on the web. And another great thing about doing such posts is that you don’t have to write much. From what I have experienced, people literally have no interest in the behind story of photographs, they just click on your post to see the gorgeous looking blue sky, the incredibly beautiful setting sun, and those beautiful plants and flowers of your garden. No one really about whether you clicked those pictures before watering your plants or what snacks are you going to eat after watching the sunset. But I can’t deny the fact that people genuinely like photography posts, and that’s what motivates me to do more such posts and helps me improve my photography skills.
Feelings and Recent Activities
These posts often come out of nowhere, when you just want to share what’s on your mind recently and connect more with your readers. One of my favorite posts I’ve written on my blog so far “A Stressful Week Spent Joyfully with a Positive Mindset” is a post that fits into this category. Sometimes when you just put your fingers on the keyboard, you start typing what you feel without having an idea of what will the title of this post be, and just go with the flow, we realize how good writing feels. I personally love reading these Life Update kinda posts in my WP Reader and it equally feels good writing them.
Collab Posts
When blogging starts to feel boring, do a collab. No, actually they are even better when you’re in a total mood for blogging and want to try new things with your friends. It can either be an interview, a guest post, or just a random post where you collaborate with other bloggers, they are always fun. Collab posts are those evergreen posts that no one likes to skip because we all love to see what happens when two or more bloggers unite. Do you remember the collab post I did with three of my blog besties on Holi (here’s the link btw)? Gosh, I just read the whole post and it cracked me up again, I miss those fun days of blogging so much (and someone please bring them back).
So these were some types of blog posts I enjoy writing the most. Unexpectedly, I ended up linking to so many of my old posts and pages, hope it will help my new readers to get to know this blog better.
Which kind of blog posts do you enjoy writing the most?
