Can you believe it’s already the end of the fifth month of 2022? I’m not overreacting but… really what am I doing? Alright, my exams ended in March and I can’t remember anything productive I’ve done after that. And do I regret that? Not really, because I don’t know why I’ve been feeling so down recently. It’s like I want to work and not waste my time taking afternoon naps but I’m also enjoying being unproductive and taking rest.
Anyway, we’ll talk about that – happiness in nothingness – thing some other day. May has come to an end and we are here to talk about what we did this whole month and how was it like, aren’t we? So let me tell you my story of May 2022…
[Also, I’ll be answering the questions I got for my Ask Me Anything post tomorrow, so don’t forget to leave your questions here if you haven’t already.]

Blogging

Including this one, I published 9 posts on Poorwa’s blog this May. Here are they…
I didn’t write a lot this month but really love the posts I could publish. Especially the first and the last one. Then I really enjoyed writing the post where I shared my YouTube feed and of course, Harry’s House came out and I had so much fun reviewing the songs in it. For my new series, K-pop Unwind, the song I chose this month was TXT’s 0x1=Love Song (I Know I Love You) feat. Seori, and it’s totally amazing how I’ve been obsessed with this song for six months straight. Next, I reblogged Anushka’s recent post as she came back from her hiatus and did a Q&A post after that.
Sadly, I was less consistent with my posts than last month but I definitely did better with reading fellow bloggers’ posts and interacting with them. I hope to improve these things in June.
Let me know in the comment section which post of mine you liked the most in May.
Music I listened to…
I didn’t listen to many new songs this month (except Harry’s House) and as you can see my playlist is filled with K-pop. I mostly listened to NCT the whole month and in the last week of May, I was (still am) just enjoying watching 127’s Japan concert clips. They were just so good and looking at that beautiful green ocean just made me so excited and refreshed.

I was really into OSTs this month so I made a playlist and it’s literally become my favorite playlist because of the comforting vibe it gives me every time I tune into it.
Favorite song of the month: I will listen never alone – Yoon Mirae
To you, who is sad and crying
To you, who is struggling
I’ll sing this song for you with all my heart
When you think you’re alone, when you suddenly start to cry
When you feel like no one is next to you
Remember that you’re not alone
Even if the world always hurts you
Even when you feel lonely or sad, don’t cry
I’ll wordlessly hug you, I’ll listen to you
Look back, I’ll be here
I’ll wipe away all your tears
Even all your loneliness
What I watched…
I started watching anime again and what a great anime I started with… Death Note. And it was just – wow. My favorite. So you can look forward to my first anime review next month. I have Tokyo Ghouls in my watchlist, so I’ll probably review that too.
In movies, I started with KGF Chapter 2 and RRR. And as I expected from myself, I didn’t really enjoy KGF 2 as much as others did. Maybe I just wasn’t in the mood of watching action movies. I liked RRR much better and it was really a good movie. I loved watching Insidious 2 and Annabelle Comes Home, though they weren’t really scary a few scenes definitely gave me goosebumps. Then I finally watched Train To Busan and I get why it’s so popular now. I rewatched some comedy ones like the Golmaal series and horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Ami Je Tomar will forever be iconic.
Hey, guess what? I watched School 2015: Who Are You again. I’ve watched it four times now and I think I should stop now, but can I? This drama is a fine stress reliever and the OSTs… just the best! I also watched Vincenzo and it was awesome. I did start A Business Proposal in the first week of May but I’ve just watched one episode yet.
For June, I’m gonna complete watching A Business Proposal and probably watch a Chinese drama too. I have a few Chinese movies on my watchlist so I’m looking forward to watching them in June.
Life
How do I explain it in one word… Gloomy, maybe? I didn’t like this month even a bit because of some depressing events that happened. Well, I think it’s getting better now so I’m not gonna talk about that. A few good things happened too like I got my 12th result and it was satisfying. Good thing that I don’t have any regrets like I should’ve worked harder or something, it was good.
My health wasn’t good this month and I had to take complete bed rest for a week, so that’s something that really ruined my whole month. It felt even worse because of summer. I’m glad that summer is almost gone here now and the weather has been much better since it’s raining every day for a week. I never liked rain this much but I’m really loving it recently. The sound of rain is so good. I even made a dancing-in-the-rain memory with my doggies so that was something special. I also got a haircut.
I’m really excited about BTS’s upcoming album and also their 9th anniversary on June 13th, this comeback is definitely going to be a lifesaver. I’ve also found my lost interest in books again so there are many books I’m looking forward to reading in June. Then there will be my college admission and I can already feel my head spinning.
So, yeah, that’s all. I hope June will be better and more interesting for all of us.
How was your month? What are your plans for June?
