So.. you know BTS?
I think most of my readers of course know them.
So if you like them.. come on and have fun reading this post. If you hate them.. you must read this post. And if you have only heard their name, I hope you’ll really like this post. (Please read this post until the end🙏)
First, if you are thinking that I’m gonna write only and only great things about them (without any reasons) like a die heart fan, you aren’t totally right. I’m gonna share what I truly feel and why I follow ‘em and why you should take a look at.. BTS. (I know you’re interested, that’s why you are reading this right😉?)
Why I’m writing this post?…
For my readers… if you are regular on my blog, you’d surely know that I’m a crazy music lover and as I’ve observed my readers really like the posts related to music, like my weekly posts ‘Motivational lyrics‘. And as a lifestyle blogger, I should share my thoughts, likes, dislikes etc. etc. And if we talk about BTS, the band has now become a part of my daily life just like the other singers I follow. So I hope you’ll like this post🥰. Let’s get started…
So let’s take a look at a brief intro..
BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a seven-member (RM, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook) South Korean boy band that began formation in 2010 and debuted in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment… Wikipedia
How I knew about BTS?
As you know that I’m obsessed by music. I found out about BTS last year, I think it was in April 2019. Di (elder sister) loves music the same as me, and she had a new obsession to find more bands after listening to Little Mix and One Direction (we both love their songs💕). And it’s obvious that if you search on internet for bands or singing groups, you’d find BTS for sure.
So she started to watch their performances and because we stay almost all the time together I also watched a few performances with her, so that’s how I knew about this idol group.
At first, I wasn’t that interested and there were some reasons too. (I’m not that kind of person who follows something without any reason, I might sound selfish but I accept this thing.)
I didn’t understand their songs, my Korean was zero at that time and I was not even learning it. I couldn’t even remember their faces when I watched a few of their performances, it was really irritating (silly me😅). And someone even told me that they are talent-less and just know to wear makeup😑.
Then how I started to follow BTS…
But I’m not even that kind of person who believes in rumors easily. I had no problem with a little bit makeup, and I wouldn’t believe if you name any celebrity who doesn’t wear makeup nowadays. So makeup was nothing for me from the starting.
And yes.. I didn’t understand their songs right? One day I watched a performance of my favorite song ever for the first time… it was ‘Spring Day’. (You can watch the eng-sub performance below.) That was just amazing. The lyrics really touched me and the song is so so so good😍. No one can hate ‘Spring Day’ song after listening to it. So that was the moment when I showed my interest in the group, after finding my favorite song.
Now let’s talk about their outstanding work on the stage. The way they perform, I just love it. For the people who say that BTS is talent-less, I don’t know how someone can say this big lie. I mean really? I know my readers are very very smart to understand what talent is, I have no doubts on you guys😌. Carrying a mic and dancing is really a tough thing. I’ve tried singing while my dancing exercise and it’s very hard to breathe and to control your voice, so heads-off to all the performers who can do this amazing work👍.
And it was my stupidity that it was hard for me to remember their faces but honestly it didn’t take me long to remember their names and faces😅.
The next thing I love a lot is variety. Songs for every feeling. Joy, hope, sadness, happiness, sorrow, inspiration, motivation, fear, overcoming, fight, love, fun etc. etc.
And after all these things, they are lovely and kind😊.
And it all makes BTS my favorite.
Yesterday Bhaiya (elder brother) told me a thing that made me realize a great thing. I’m signed in to Korean learning website and was listening to a lesson’s podcast. He saw me and said, “Look.. this is the power of art. It made you to learn a strange language.” It might sound very normal but it has a very big meaning for me.
I thought a lot about that sentence and realize that I’m doing a great job. I never tried or worked hard to learn English but I learned it because it’s in our habit somehow. And I started to learn a new language (Korean) and working hard on it and the main thing.. I’m loving it. Saw the power of art.. it gave me a new hobby to learn languages. After Korean, I’ll start to learn a different language.
You don’t know how much I like it when I understand many lines or words in Korean songs or dramas without any subtitle. My parents are proud of me that I’m learning a new language and following my passion. They praised me a lot when I read a full webpage (written in Korean) very quickly. I don’t even know how I learned to read and write a new language only by watching some amazing performances. Isn’t that amazing😀?
BTS is now the biggest band in the world and achieving great honors. They are loved by the people all around the world and making history.
I always say this thing ‘Love yourself’ and this group can make you do it better, trust me. Their new released album ‘BE’ is a ray of hope in this pandemic situation and I truly appreciate their work.
It’s not that I only love BTS. I’m a crazy music lover, and big fan of many other songs, singers, bands etc. But these boys are really special. They have the power to change your life and make it happier.
