Hey everyone! Here I am doing another fun collab with one of my really good blogging friends. Yes, it’s Ib @ It’s IB – #CreativityInMyWorld (I like her tagline a lot) here with me! It’s been only a month since we got to know each other’s blogs and look at us now, talking with Ib feels like we’ve been friends for a long time. So after a long conversation and planning this collab post (it really took a month), we’re now sharing it with you guys.
For this collab, we came up with 10 Blogging related questions and decided to answer them together on each other’s blogs. There will be 5 questions in this post with Ib’s and my answers to them and as it’s a collab, don’t forget to check out the other 5 questions and our answers to them on Ib’s blog. And yes, don’t forget to read her other posts as well ’cause I’m sure you’ll love them, they’re so much fun to read.
Now, let’s get started…
1. When did and why did you start blogging?
Ib: I started blogging on December 31st, 2019. I started blogging because I wanted a space where I could talk about whatever I like and enjoy and hope that people will find interest in my way of thought.
Me: I created Poorwa’s blog on December 24, 2019 – Yes, on my birthday – and published my first post on March 25, 2020. I just wanted to do something new and got interested in blogging. But there’s also a small story behind my blog, you can click here to read.
2. Besides blogging, what are your favorite things to do?
Ib: I enjoy reading other blogs in my free time. I love Journaling, watching funny content like movies, Run BTS, roaming YouTube. That’s basically it.
Poorwa: Singing, watching k-pop and other music-related content on YouTube, blog designing, solving Maths questions sometimes, watching the same music videos and performances over and over again.
3. How do you come up with ideas for your blog posts?
Ib: I get inspired from something I watched or read. Most of my guest based content are inspired. I’m also inspired by music I listen to. Everything around me is somehow a factor of the kind of posts i write. Sometimes, my ideas pop in my mind and I quickly write them down in a journal or in my notes app so when I’m free, I can look through them and decide if it’s “blog worthy”
Poorwa: I don’t really know how but I have lots of post titles saved in my drafts right now and I came up with around 10 of them between my Chemistry online classes. And recently, I’ve been sleeping with my notebooks – you know the pressure on a 12th student – and many times I get post ideas when I’m trying to sleep, so I note them down immediately. Other than that, I get inspired by my fellow blogging friends and ideas pop up in my mind while watching anything fun on their own.
4. What is the last book you read?
Ib: I recently read “Atonement Child” by Francine Rivers. It’s a good read, I recommend it.
Poorwa: Well, I just read a few chapters of my Hindi book an hour ago, haha. The last book I read was ‘The Rudest Book Ever’ by Shwetabh Gangwar and unline what I expected, it was really a good book. I’m glad that my brother made me read it.
5. Where do you see your blog in 2 years?
Ib: I see It’s Ib blog being a space more people look forward to coming to. More fun collaborations and features. I just want my blog to continue to be a place that make me and my readers happy.
Poorwa: I see my blog being a big family of bloggers, writers, readers, music lovers and more people who share similar thoughts and interests, and who are ready to listen to others. A happy and fun place, where I feel comfortable!
