Hey everyone! So today’s a very special day for all the Directioners out there as it’s been 11 years since the band debuted. Amazing, right? I was thinking of what should I post for today and thanks to Evin for the idea of this post (If you don’t know then, Evin is a huge Directioner).
Whenever we talk about music artists, we mainly see their popular songs, right? Like Selena Gomez’s Lose You To Love Me, BTS’ Dynamite, One Direction’s What Makes You Beautiful, Ariana Grande’s 7 Rings, and many other artists’ popular songs. Of course, these singles are absolutely fantastic songs but we usually forget to check out the B-side tracks. And so many times those songs end up in the category of artist’s Underrated songs.
So for this special post on One Direction’s 11th debut anniversary, today I’m gonna listen and kind of review 10 of their underrated songs. Since I’m not a big fan of the group yet, I have listened to their popular songs only – I love those songs – and there are just so many songs I have to listen to, so I’m very much excited to give a listen to them.

Okay, so how such a beautiful song can be underrated? Why? First of all, I loved the music and also the lyrics are so lovely. Chorus is just fantastic and really the kind of what I like. Then Zayn’s vocals at the end… awesome. My favorite lyrics from the song…

Girl Almighty
Hey, I remember, it was in the playlist Sep shared with me. It’s a nice one but not really in my favorites of 1D. If you haven’t listened to this song, give it a try, maybe you’ll like it a lot. And yes, I loved this line sung by Zayn… Am I the only, only believer?
I Would
It’s just perfect! I loved everything about it! Especially the whistling in the background, it was the key point for me. I liked Louis’s part the most, he really sang it beautifully. A must-listen! And don’t forget to watch this performance…
Last First Kiss
Another lovely song! Beautiful and pleasant to ears! I’m glad that Louis’s got more lines in this one. And their vocals were really awesome, I especially liked Liam’s singing the most in 1st Verse. So what are you waiting for? You should definitely listen to it!
I Want
Releasing all frustration on girls, hun!? If you want to jump and rock, listen to it right now. They were so into the song! It has great rocking vibes and I loved the bridge part a lot. You know when they stretch the words “you, true, knew” and all, it was fabulous.
I Wish
A lovely sad song. The lyrics are beautiful and also their vocals. I Wish kinda gave me nostalgic vibes, it’s really a good song. My favorite lyrics…

Diana
Why are my feet dancing all of a sudden!? I can’t say I liked it a lot like others but listening to it can make you happy. I loved the way they did the chorus, and also the high beats. It was great!
Over Again
It’s such a beautiful song. And the chorus is just perfect. A must-listen!
If you’re pretending from the start

Little Black Dress
Well, I don’t really listen to music that has too much drum and electric guitar sound, so this one was not really for me. But you can give it a try if you haven’t, you know we all have different tastes.
They Don’t Know About Us
In my opinion, it’s literally one of the best 1D songs. I love these kinds of lyrics a lot and it’s really great to sing along. I liked Harry’s and Niall’s parts the most in this song, and also the bridge part by Louis. It was perfect! You should definitely listen to it!
Done!!! It was my first time listening to most of these songs and I really loved most of them. That’s why I say people should not only stream popular songs but also listen to the B-side tracks. My favorite one from all of these 10 songs I listened to, is They Don’t Know About Us and I also loved I Would a lot.
I hope One Direction gets reunited one day, so it will be more excited for music lovers like me to listen to their new songs. I also like their solo songs a lot, especially Harry Style’s songs. I hope you enjoyed reading this post of mine and don’t forget to listen to the songs I recommended.
