I remember in my post Goodbye April 2021! I said that April was very long for me so I was not that happy with it… I can’t say the same this time. May 2021 was quite strange for me, it ended so fast that I feel like I couldn’t do a single thing. I don’t have an idea what I’m gonna write because I guess this month was boring for me. But I’m writing this post because I’m sure many good things happened too so I want to create a memory and store all the special moments of this month through this post. So let’s see how May 2021 was for me…
At first, it was normal- just my daily pretty life. I wrote about one of my favorite WP blogs or you can say features ‘Discover‘. Then I shared my playlist with you as a huge music lover and that post is one of my favorites on my blog.
I got a lovely email from one of my non-blogging readers, and I wrote an introduction post for my blog. You can read that post if you are new to my blog or want to know about what Poorwa’s blog is all about.
In April, I had shared a video I recorded of Birds Singing that surpassed 1K views in a few days, and I got an idea of hosting a Photography Contest on my blog. I’m so thankful to all of you for giving the contest so much love, it’s now one of my most popular posts! (Click here to see the entries and here to check out the results)
Then there came the negative time, my mood was off because of the pandemic since so many of my neighbors tested corona positive. I didn’t write anything for more than a week then finally posted ‘My Life And The Pandemic‘ to clean my mind and really, I felt good after that.
I created my own ‘ThisOrThat tag‘ and I’m so glad that you all liked it.
I did a review of Demi Lovato’s new album ‘Dancing with the Devil… the Art of Starting Over’ which I loved a lot. A few days later I got what I waited for more than a month- BTS brand new single Butter (you can read my review here).
Butter was the best thing for me of May. And can you believe, it has already set 5 new Guinness World Records! I love this song so much!
Then came the news that made me the happiest this May. I surpassed 500 WP followers on my blog! I can’t explain how happy I was and still am because of it. I also did an announcement for Guest Posts, Collabs, and Interviews, click here to know more.
On the next day I posted about my blogging journey and why I started blogging. I really loved writing that post, I realized how far I’ve come, how much I’ve learned and gained through blogging.
3 days ago I posted my sister’s covers, I want to thank you all for supporting her singing. I was thinking about what I can do to celebrate my 500+ followers milestone, so I thought of doing a BloggersLift. Many of my blogging friends joined it and shared about their blogs, you can also introduce your blog there and meet lots of amazing bloggers.
And now, it’s time to present the best performing post of May 2021 on Poorwa’s blog…

I published 25 posts in April, still, I’m surprised at how I managed to publish 18 posts in May because quite a lot happened this month, I didn’t even write that much, and also I think… I just didn’t do anything. But my blog’s stats also went higher than the previous month which is a thing I’m super proud of. Thank you so much everyone!
It was all about my blog, now me give you an life update.
Today I’m really very very very happy, no I can’t say today… right now I’m very happy. My computer was off for a week and that’s why my mood was also off. If you have read my post ‘10 Things I Can’t Live Without‘, then you know how much my computer means to me. I was unable to start it and you all know the situation, we couldn’t even take it to mechanic because our area is sealed as my neighbors are Corona positive. Kudos to my smart Dad, he did it! He was trying his best to make it work and he succeeded, after a week I got my computer back a few hours ago. And also, hats off to the bloggers who use phone for blogging, it’s really very hard guys.
I really enjoyed music this month, I mean more than ever. I watched lots of new videos on YouTube, and also on TV, I got to listen to many awesome songs, so musically this month was great to me.
