About my blog…

Poorwa’s blog is mainly a lifestyle blog, in which I write about my interests and things that are related to me. I talk about music all the time and if you want some song recommendations, you’ve found the right place (I mostly listen to Korean and Western Pop). I also write about my daily life, school… my perspectives. Photography is one of my favorite hobbies and I like to share my captures on my blog. Overall, I write whatever I want. Blogging was a chapter of my I.T. book in school; I studied a little about it and wanted to give it a try (It’s another thing that all the little I studied about blogging was totally useless). My blogging goal is probably reaching 1000 WP followers at the end of this year. All the best to me!

What is your favorite hobby?

Singing! It’s my favorite hobby and also a habbit. I love singing the most!

If you could change one thing about WordPress, what would it be?

Hmm….. yes, it really irritates me a lot when comments from other bloggers get spammed and I have to check my spam section all the time so that I can approve the comments that are not spam. If I could, I would really change this thing about WP.

Describe yourself in three words?

Caring, Trustworthy, Good?

Despite all the positive and negative this year, what has been the most memorable moment for you?

I remember I was so happy when I got to know that Corona vaccines have been made. That moment has been my favorite! We all celebrated that day!

If you could learn something new, what would it be?

Taekwondo!

What is your favorite song? Why?

Spring Day – BTS! Everything about this song is just perfect- melodies, lyrics, beats, vocals, rap parts, choreography, emotions… I mean everything. The reason why it stands out for me is that even if it’s mainly a sad and emotional song, it gives hope to the listener that it will be okay. This song is a tribute to the students and other people who lost their lives in the Sewol Ferry Disaster, and that makes it even more meaningful and precious.

Which was the last song you heard?

Together At Home – SuperM. It’s such a fantastic song, I’m listening to it right now.

Which is your least favorite song?

Maybe Swalla by Jason Derulo feat. Nicki Minaj & TY Dolla $ign? I don’t know, I just don’t like that song even a bit.

Which is the most catchy song you have heard?

There are many! Let me name my recent favorite one- Make A Wish (Eng. Ver) – NCT 127. The whistling is everything! And also the lyrics…

Do you prefer earphones or headphones for music?

Both are okay for me but I like headphones more.

What was the first song you heard?

Is it possible to remember? Maybe Jan-Gan-Man or Maiyaa Yashoda or Laal Chunariya or…… I don’t know lol.

What’s the last lie you told?

Yesterday, I told my best friend that I’m busy and can’t talk right now. We had a small argument during our English class so after a few hours she called me and I said that. Don’t worry, it was just a common argument we have all the time, I was just playing around. After 10 minutes I called her balled her back and we both started to discuss global warming (I know my sense of humor is just awesome).

What are you currently worried about?

My 11^th grade’s result! They haven’t given us our results yet and my classes for 12^th grade have started.

What movie can you watch over and over without ever getting tired of?

The Avengers series! I’ve been watching it over and over for years and I can still watch all of them without getting tired (I don’t like movies though).

If you had to change your name, what would your new name be, and why would you choose that name?

I don’t think I’ve ever wanted or ever will want to change my name. I really love it a lot. But still if I had to, maybe Aurora? No, I’m satisfied with Poorwa.

What celebrity would you rate as a perfect 10?

No one is perfect but yes, I can say that some people don’t need to be any better. I would like to say Lee Taeyong. He is an awesome rapper, a wonderful dancer, a fantastic songwriter, great at cooking, sub-vocalist, good at making arts, very smart, extremely good-looking, a great leader, strong and skilled, good at sports, caring, supportive, and he is also great at customizing. And there’s no way I can forget about Park Jimin and Jeon Jungkook.

What’s the most useless talent you have?

Same as Pavithra, I can recommend you a perfect song to listen to. You just tell me what kind of song you want and I won’t disappoint you with my choice. It’s my talent but sometimes I think it’s useless because people don’t really listen to recommendations. I’m not blaming anyone but it’s like a human nature. But I feel very lucky to have this useless talent.

What’s the most interesting thing you’ve read or seen this week?

If you could know the absolute and total truth to one question, what question would you ask?

I would like to know the truth of dreams. What happens to us when we fall asleep, Where do we go, What’s the truth of dreams… How we are so creative!?

What is your version of – There are two kinds of people in this world…?

There are two kinds of people in this world… People who know the difference between right and wrong, and people who don’t.  

What memory do you just keep going back to?

The day before Annual function in 8^th grade. Everything was just perfect at that time. I really felt the real happiness. It wasn’t something very special, just a simple annual function but if I could go back in time, I would love to relive that moment. It was our (my and my friends) last year in that school so we wanted to enjoy every single second and we really did. Preparing for the function with teachers, playing and having fun around, running in the corridors… I really miss that day.

What are you completely over and done with?

People judging K-pop idols for almost everything. Not only judging the idols but also their fans. Now I don’t really care whatever they say, I’ve understood that everyone can’t recognize and respect the talent and good people. Haters Gonna Hate and Players Gonna Play.

What is your most loved possession?

Music? Hey there… I’m possessed by a ghost called music but I don’t want it to leave me. Thank you!

What are your opinions on my (Geet’s Society) blog?

You’re really doing great, Geet! You just started blogging a month ago and you’ve made such a lovely place in our hearts and in the blogosphere as well. I would like to see more lifestyle posts on your blog and to know more about you. Keep blogging!

How would you describe yourself as?

I love myself! I like my choices, I like my attitude, I like what I’m doing. I never want to hurt anyone’s feelings, I want everyone to live happily, I’m always ready to help in good things and I feel bad when I can’t help someone who needs, I listen to what others say and respect their opinions, but I don’t stay still when anyone is saying anything rubbish about me or the people I love, I’m trustworthy, my friends love me for who I am, I’m a positive person and like to make others smile and encourage them, I’m not the kind of person who’ll leave you alone in trouble and run away… in short, I’m a good girl. But I too have a negative side- I can be rude and mean sometimes, I even act selfishly sometimes, sometimes I feel jealous, I’m greedy, I’m not good at everything, I’m lazy, it’s hard for me to apologize, and many other things. But overall, I believe that I’m a good person and worthy to be loved.

What made you realize that you wanted to be a blogger?

Nothing. I never wanted to be a blogger. But now when I’ve become a blogger, I think starting blogging was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life.

What’s your favorite sport? Why do you like it?

Volleyball and badminton! I remember how much fun I had in 9^th and 10^th grade. I love it when I play with my friends as a team and we really have great teamwork. We playing and our classmates cheering for us… it was the best. But then pandemic came, we’ve been staying at home only, so no fun. It’s one of the reasons why I badly want my school to open so that I can enjoy to the fullest in my final year.

I just wanna be happier, am I being too greedy?

What’s the one thing that you miss when you were little?

I miss being tension free. I miss being careless. I miss the feeling when I had nothing to worry about.

What is a quality in yourself that you hate?

I don’t know if it’s the right answer but I wake up even from the sound of smallest things. It’s a nice thing in a way but I hate it because it ruins my sleep.

How do you practice self care in your worst days?

I try to look at the positive sides. Even if it’s a worst situation, I try to find a way to make my mood. I surf on YouTube, watch some good videos, performances, acoustic lives, anything that makes me feel better. I sometimes sit on a chair in my garden, play nice and soothing music, close my eyes and calm myself.

What are your pet peeves?

People who judge others and try to make someone feel down, when someone smokes in front of me, when someone spells my name incorrectly… there are many things that irritate me. Click here to read 5 of my biggest pet peeves.

What do you do in your free time, when you’re bored?

I read articles, do internet surfing, play video games, watch videos on YouTube, play cards or chess on computer, draw… many things, I have lots of hobbies.

If you could do one thing without the fear of Covid. What would it be?

Go on a picnic with all my close friends!

What’s the closest thing to magic?

Imagination! Don’t know if it’s right.

Which movie really took you by surprise, and changed your view point forever?

I don’t really watch movies a lot. Out of all the movies I’ve watched Avengers: Endgame surprised me the most and yes, it changed my viewpoint. I used to thought every villain has wrong intentions but Thanos wasn’t a villain actually. He just wanted to secure the future of the next generations. I know his idea of vanishing half of the population was wrong but he had good intentions.

What is a weird food combination you enjoy?

I’ve never tried weird food combinations and don’t even want to. I’m very choosy when it comes to food, and if it’s something weird, I’ll check first if others are enjoying it or not, especially my elder sister because our tastes match really well. If they all like it then I’ll think of eating that weird combination.
